Although, Jake's retaliation, I'm worried about that. He's malicious and manipulative. He probably had Chloe followed, and even though she already said she didn't want to be part of his family, she hadn't officially called it off. Going to her ex, on the eve (almost so) of her wedding, will cause a scandal, and pardon the pun, sully her name and embarrass Jake and his family. However, if it means he gets to hurt them both, I don't know if he'd be above splashing their make-up all over the papers. And spin it to make himself look like the innocent, hurt one.
